1. Where did you go for the piano competition?

The piano competition is in England.

2. What do you want to do when you get older?

I want to be the most professional pianist and I want to help kids find their way in the music industry.

3. What are your parents like?

My mom and my dad work a lot and they really support what I do.(most of the time)

4. What is your name?

Well my name is Gilda Joyce.

5. Who do you spend most of the time?

I spend most of my time with my piano teacher because my parents are at work and they really aren’t home when I am.

6. What would you do if you had one day for yourself?

I would probably go to the wall of music so that I would be able to see all of the musical people that inspired me to be who I am today.

7. Do you have a sibling and if so how many?

           I have one little brother and he is 4 years old and he is adorable.

8. What is your favorite place and what do you like to do there?

              My favorite place is with my piano teacher because I LOVE to play the piano.

9. Do you play and instrument and if so what instrument do you play?

          Well I play the piano and in my opinion it is the best instrument ever.

10. Who’s your enemy and why?

           Well I really don’t have an enemy sorry.

science fair

The 6^th grade pioneer ridge made a science fair and my science fair project is a project that tells you about what kind of toothpaste helps make your teeth clean and which one doesn’t. there are many different ways to see how your teeth get clean my maybe just flossing or to use fluoride but my partner Krista and I brushed our teeth to try to find out how this project would work and when we were done we compared the pictures and we found the cleaner teeth and the pictures were a really big part of our project so that’s how we did our project but also…

     Krista and I found out that Colgate makes your teeth cleaner and like I said before we used the pictures to compare how and what they looked like. When we were comparing the pictures we saw that there were a few perks. But in the end it all worked out and we were able to make everything come together like we wanted to.

If I could change something then I would change the way that the color of the word looked. Also I would put the steps in order so that it would be easier to know more information about.  I would make sure that there were more pictures so that they would know more about my science fair project and they would know more about the steps.

Jasmine and Krista Science fair

A meteor hit the moon. Just minutes later Tornados and volcanoes started to erupt every were the T.V. said then the radio reported the dead I didn’t hear my dad’s name or Lisa’s name. Oh sorry I really like the book called life as we knew it because it has so much love and warmth (well kind of). This book is about a girl and her family trying to survive the harsh weather.

         Jen noticed that it was getting really cold and some people in her town were going missing, and now she and her have to make sure that her family stays safe through the cold and stormy weather. Later that year her nabor died and then Jens mom brock her leg later that day and they did all they could to try to help her. After her leg was better she sprained her ankle weeks after that.

        Jen and her brother had to make sure that her mother would survive. About 2 months later something happened she didn’t know what else to do but go and try to find a doctor. When she got to the hospital there were only a couple of people there and she told the lady what happened and she said just feed them and take care of them. 

          Jen went back home and she saw that her older brother was trying to walk up the stairs but he couldn’t. Jen had to care for them for almost about a month. Then Jen had to move all of her family up to the other room so that it would be warmer. But right now that is all that i am going to tell you if you want to hear more then read the book.

           “Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz zzzzzzzzzzzzz” “boom” swoosh” “What was that” Jessica said. Then Jessica went down to go and talk to the captain. “What in the world is happening” “excuse me but this is not an area that ladies should be in and this is information only a man would know” the captain said. “Excuuuse me I have the right to be heard and I need answers so tell me what is happening” Jessica said to the captain “the ship hit an ice burg and water is flooding the whole ship and we have no way to stop it”.

     Jessica looked at the captain and she was really in shock she really didn’t know what she was going to do. She ran to her room to see what she needed to take with her when she would get off the boat and she kind of got all of her clothes and she looked at her picture of her mom that died on a ship and, Jessica thought in her mind I will never die on a ship and I miss you so much mom. Then Jessica ran down to the bottom deck were all of the ships were and she saw that people were scared and they were running around haphazardly some people even hurled off the boat. Soon people were screaming and hollering like a hippopotamus wanting it’s food.. The captain said that women and children need to get on the life boats. Most men were left on the boat and the people that were left on the boat jumped off the boat to try to get on a life boat. Most of the people that jumped into the water because the water was freezing cold. Jessica was on the first life boat. When the people in the life boats saw the help ship they noticed that they were all really cold and they didn’t know what they were going to do because there were so many people that died on the way to the ship.

 The people on the ship took all of the people in and they helped them at try to get back to health but over many people died. Jessica saw that so many people were dyeing and there was no cure.  Soon, Jessica sent a text to the captain and it said “what is happening and I’m really cold” soon the captain said “it’s ok I’m here on the ship and we are all going to be fine” Jessica didn’t know whether to believe him or not so she said “I’m scared my husband died because I couldn’t find him on this ship and I didn’t find him on the Titanic” the captain didn’t say anything back to Jessica. After 20 minutes Jessica was worried about what had happened to the captain. Jessica sent another text that said “hello captain are you still there” there was still no response.

The next day Jessica saw that the captain was in the dining room and he was stressed out because he didn’t know what he was going to do about his ship. The captain said that this was a really bad time to come and talk to him and he didn’t want anyone to see him like this. Jessica knew that the captain was really mad so Jessica went over to him and she tried to calm him down. She said “captain please you couldn’t save the Titanic” the captain said “the Titanic was supposed to be never unsinkable” life is life you can’t change that” soon the captain said “GET OUT NOWI JUST WANT TO BE ALONE” Jessica knew that he really didn’t mean it he was just stressed Jessica went to o and try to find more information.

When Jessica saw that there was no information about how the Titanic sunk but hitting an ice burg she didn’t know what she was going to tell the captain. Later that day she went to go and see where he was but then people told her that he jumped off the boat and he said that he was sorry to Jessica. Soon Jessica went to her room and thought about why he would have done that and then she went to sleep. The next day she saw that they were on land and she told her story all around the world and she later died 5 months after the wreck of the Titanic.
