I have been reading Catching Fire, a book from the Hunger Games saga. It is a really good book and you should really read it!! I enjoy this book because it is a popular book for 2012 and it is from the saga of the Hunger Games. I am on chapter six right now and I can’t stop reading it! I am a big fan of this book, I love it. The writing is great and the story is amazing. But it would be great if you read the books in order, first The Hunger Games, then Catching Fire, and last, Mockingjay. If you like the Twilight saga, you will love this.

You can buy the book here:

It all started when my teacher announced the 6th grade science fair. We were all dreaded at first but it became sort of fun I guess. Some of us had partners, some of us didn’t but we all still learned. My science fair project was asking how long it took pets to be trained.

I started practicing the trick “roll over” with my own dog Milo. We practiced for about a week, but before all that I researched at school during science time. I found out on a science website researched that it usually took about a couple weeks for a pet to learn a new trick; I was pretty impressed how they found that out.

Once I got home me and Milo started practicing the tricks I wanted him to learn. But I focused on roll over more. I first commanded him to lie down, he did so. Then I tried to make him turn, he tried to, but he didn’t really accomplish it. But he was still learning because I knew it didn’t take like two days to learn a new trick that fast. Then the next couple days he started getting better at it every day.

I would change something, if I could. I didn’t get my pictures of him e-mailed, and I would change that. I would keep the rest and just put the pictures I took of Milo (my dog I trained) on the project.
