Welcome to our collection of blogs. You are currently reading the main class blog. We will use our class blog as a tool for discussing what we are learning in class. Please visit the class blog regularly to stay current on what we are learning in class. If you’re the adventurous type consider subscribing to the blog using Google Reader. If you’d like to learn more about Google Reader watch this short introduction video.
In addition to the class blog each student will be issued a student blog portfolio. These portfolios will be used to highlight and publish what we are learning in the classroom. I will personally moderate each student blog. Each post will be reviewed before it is published. If you’d like to learn more about how blogs work I suggest this excellent video clip introducing the concept.
You are invited to comment on your student’s blog portfolio throughout the year. This is a great way to encourage your student and stay up to date with what they are learning in the classroom. All comments will be moderated before they are published.
