What are your expectations of a good teacher? What do I need to do to make this a great year for you?
Tell me about the best teacher you’ve ever had. What made that person such a good teacher?
Tell me about how you learn best. Give me an example of a project or unit where you learned a lot. Describe the project in as much detail as possible.
What else do you think I should know that would help this year be the best for you?
While you don’t know me directly, I saw your post on Twitter and wanted to give you a comment directly. This blog is an excellent example of how a teacher can use simple technology to make a lasting and important impact in the education of our students. Great work so far on what you are doing with the blog and I will be returning to see what other interesting challenges and questions you post to your students!

Your students comments on what makes a great teacher provide me with incentive and motivation for our faculty. I am the principal at a Saint Andrew School in Drexel Hill, PA. It is my firm belief that educators share a passion for learning, as well as a love of children. So much of what we do relies on the relationships that we build with our students. Many of the comments I read attest to that. Thanks for sharing your students’ insights. We will learn from them!
Best wishes for an wonderful school year.

My favorite teacher would have to be my 5th grade teacher Mrs. Swain i like her because she understood me the best
I learn best in complete silece it has to be silent or I cant concentrate.
One of my prjects was in social studies we were talking about suberds and plains my teacher said we had to draw a picture of both of them and explain how they are diffrent. I really learned alot and had so much fun.
I think you could help your students by giving them educational fun activites to do. Dont let them get bored but make sure they learn!
