In this book a boy named Jonah has always known he was adopted. He thought it was normal until he and his friend Chip receive creepy letters that warn them that someone or something is going to get them. Jonah, Chip, and Katherine (Jonah’s younger sister) will have to solve a mystery that includes the FBI, a mysterious airplane, and people that disappear. The kids will discover they are in the middle of two opposing forces that want Jonah and Chip for different reasons. What side will they choose? Who was sending those creepy letters and why did they send it? If I could rate this book I would give it a 7 because it is very adventurous and a little scary.

    What a great summary, Anna! You make this book sound very exciting! I’m reading the second book right now. Margaret Peterson Haddix has QUITE an imagination!

    I know it is an awesome book. I recommend this book to people who like adventure and mysteries. It is so good!
