Back Yard Angel by Judy Delton is a fun kid book because these 2 kids get in trouble and they have to get the house ready before their mom gets home and clean their mess up, too. A fun event takes place on the road by a truck. Also some of  the problems are that a girl can’t really be happy too other unless it’s her brother. Her mom invites a friend of hers and tries to make Angel happy, does it work? It’s a series book and on the cover you can see that one character is not going to be happy. But will she ever get happy or will she be babysitting the rest of the time?

On a scale from 1-10 I give it a 10 because the things they do make you laug. Also it has great details and more. Read on to see the trouble they go through.

The Prom Dates From Hell by Rosemary Clement-Moore talks about boy trouble. It’s a fantasy and realistic fiction book at the same time. If you like fantasy and like reading about jocks, then check this book out and you will love it. Some of the things that happen are people get hurt in a swimming pool in gym class and a girl gets gossiped about. Will she start to gossip and make friends with Jessica? Read on to see the things a girl and friends go through.

I give it a 10 out of a 1-10 because it keeps you thinking and I love fantasy books.

The Puppy Place By: Ellen Miles This series is really sad because these kids take care of these dogs. The lesson learned is that when you love something and you had it for a long time, it’s better to give it to someone to love longer and longer. This writing in this book makes you feel like a caring person. It shows that even that you’re older you can still find fun adventures in your life. Also if you like short books this is right for you.

I give this book a 10 because it explains the feelings the people have so you can picture what the people look like. Also it explains the way the dogs act and look like. This book gives a lot of details.

The Witch Catcher by: Mary Downing Hahn

This book really got me thinking.  There’s a girl whose mom died and her dad meets a woman.  The woman has a dog, but is it really a dog? Some of the exciting events take place at a shop where a non real object gets kidnapped. Another place is the forest where the kid finds the non real object. Also it gives details so the reader can picture the clothing and place they live. I give it a 10 because it is a fantasy book and keeps you reading.
