Gregor the Overlander is about a brother and a sister that are very curious about where their father is and who he is. One day they fall down a vent and discover that there is a whole different world under their house. They meet a queen and get involved with a war between the good and the evil. Will they make it? Will they find out who their dad is?I  would give this book a 10 because it is very adventurous and a little scary.

In this book a boy named Jonah has always known he was adopted. He thought it was normal until he and his friend Chip receive creepy letters that warn them that someone or something is going to get them. Jonah, Chip, and Katherine (Jonah’s younger sister) will have to solve a mystery that includes the FBI, a mysterious airplane, and people that disappear. The kids will discover they are in the middle of two opposing forces that want Jonah and Chip for different reasons. What side will they choose? Who was sending those creepy letters and why did they send it? If I could rate this book I would give it a 7 because it is very adventurous and a little scary.
