In this book there is a boy named Vladimir but everyone calls him Vlad. He has normal 8th grade problems, except he’s a vampire.  Both of his parents are dead, too.  There are other vampires in his school that are hunting him because they saw his fangs. By the end of the year Vlad wants to kiss a girl, but his foster mom won’t let him leave the house so Vlad flies away when he’s in his room.

I rate this book 9 out of 10 because it keeps you reading.

Deeper

In this book the characters Will & Chester are looking for Will’s sister in the tunnel where in the first book they found a colony of people living underground. This book is the same as the first in the series, there are a group of people living underground. They where gas masks because they live so far underground. Will & Chester are afraid of what they find down there. Dr.Burrows say that they could be terrorists but they’re are too scared to find out.

I rate this book 10 out of 10 because it really keeps you wondering.

Comeback Kids Hot Hand by Mike Lupica

This is a book I can relate to because I am also on a travel team for basketball. Billy Raynor is not a team player he is a shoot-first and pass-later guard. Billy’s parent are divorced like mine. Billy’s dad is the head coach of his team and he can’t handle Billy not passing, so he doesn’t play him in the game. Now Billy and his dad are having a serious conflict.

I rate this book 9 out of 10. You should read this book if you like sports books.
