13 Little Blue Envelopes by Maureen Johnson

In this book the main character is Virgina. But she likes to be called Ginny. Her Aunt Peg has just died and the first roommate she lived with is sending the letters Aunt Peg wrote to Ginny before she died. So now Ginny is following what the letters tell her to do. On her way she meets a British man who is now her love. With life there are always rules. So there are four rules:

Rule #1: she may only bring a backpack and stuff that fits in it.

Rule #2: NO guide books, phrase books, or foreign language books.

Rule #3: NO money credit/debit cards.

Rule #4: No laptop, cell phone, mp3 or ipod, no camera, and no communicating to family or friends, but post cards and handwritten letters are encouraged.

I give this book a 10 out of 10 because I just love this book. All of the details it gives and the description are so good I just couldn’t put it down.

The Truth about Forever by Sarah Dessen

This book is about a girl named Macy Queen. Over the summer she’s helping her mom with cocktail parties for her business, “Queen’s homes, let us build your castle”. Now that her boyfriend (Jason) is at “brain camp” Macy is worked into taking his job until the summer ends. A job at the library information center (well of course if her boyfriend is going to “brain camp” then of course he has a job that uses a lot of knowledge) in the most quiet place. When she gets told to help at her mother’s open houses, she meets the Wish Catering Crew and all of its workers–the cook Delia, up-lifting Kristy, end-of-the-world Bert, slow Monica, and artist Wes. In all of this Macy is sulking around with her mom about her father’s death.

I give this book a 9 1/2 out of 10 because it was very sad and funny at the same time. I personally don’t like sappy books but this was very good.

Breaking Dawn By Stephanie Meyer

This book is AWESOME. It starts out with Bella in her borrowed car.  She has a rental car until her final car comes. Then she has a credit card under the name Bella Cullen, and she is telling her father (Charlie) that she is going to Darmount. For Bella to become a vampire she and Edward first have to get married. Before she leaves Alice plans the whole wedding around the engagement ring that was Edward’s real mothers ring. After all of this on the honeymoon everyone gets as very big surprise. This book is separated in to three books. In the first one is Bella’s point of view, the second is Jacob’s point of view (don’t skip this part, it makes the story more clear) and the third is Bella’s point of view also.

I would rate this book a 10 out of 10.
