The BFG by Roald Dalhl is a book about an orphan named Sophie and she is kidnapped by a giant! She is really scared when the giant took her into his cave, but then she learns this giant isn’t like the other giants that eat you. He is a big friendly giant, hence the name “BFG”. Sophie and the BFG have a mission with the Queen of England. If you want to find out what their mission is, then read this book. BFG ROCKS!
Holy Enchilada by Henry Winkler is a very good, funny, and interesting book. You can tell from the title that it has something to do with enchiladas. There is this boy named Hank Zipzer and his school is having a Multi-Cultural Day. There is also another surprise–a little boy named Yoshi from Japan is coming in for it. Everyone has to make ethnic foods, like different foods from different countries. Hank decides to make enchiladas for the festive day. Sorry, I can’t tell you the ending, you’ll have to read the book to find out what happens. I would rate this book a 8. If you like comedy and/or realistic fiction then I would read Holy Enchilada!
