You should have:
- Experience building killer web apps
- Proficiency in PHP, JavaScript (CoffeeScript/jQuery/Angularjs), and MySQL
- Computer science degree or equivalent experience
You get bonus points for:
- WordPress plugin/theme development
- Knowledge of Git source control workflow
- iOS or Android skills
- Linux sysadmin experience (we build our LEMP server clusters from scratch)
- Deploying and scaling AWS instances
- K-12 industry or teaching experience
You’re willing to:

- Attend local meetups and tech user groups
