Wow! These native residents in Panama sure are friendly. They’re trading pearls and gold to us. I love my life. The bad thing is Bastidas locked them in three iron chests. Man!

We just hit the Gulf of Uraba. This bay has a sort of weird name. Not to be mean. This bay is near Columbia. Or at least that’s what Cosa told me.

We just landed on the Island of Pearls. We traded our trinkets and knives for Chicken. I’m just kidding, for pearls. I’m hysterical!

We have just hit land! My crew says it’s called Venezuela. I know this is the beginning of a whole bunch of lands that we’ll hit. I can’t wait!

I, Isaiah Nunez de Balboa, am joining Don Rodrigo de Bastidas and Juan de la Cosa (he sailed with Columbus). I am really excited and scared because I have never been anywhere but my hometown. It’s going to be really fun. Start the Adventure!
