I have a perfect life I made peace with the Huron Indians. I have found Quebec. I have traded with Indians. I have found a lot of places but, I have had help. And I did it all for my country FRANCE.

I am traveling up the Richelieu River. I have seen green mountains. I have came across a pretty big lake. I’m naming it after myself. It will be known as Lake Champlain.

I can see the land I’m looking for. I will set a settlement there. I have fetched for success and I have caught it. Some of this land will be conquered even if I die. The land will be ruled by France.

My crew is getting very lazy. They are complaining left and right. Were in the middle of going across the Atlantic Ocean they should be doing something. I am making something like a holiday for my crew. I’m calling it The Order of Good Cheer. The Order of Good Cheer is when one different person is the governor of the ship for one day. We have a big feast and it’s like a big party.

I’m planning a new trip across the sea. I am going to a new world I have never heard of. I am fetching for success. I am heading to the north to set a settlement for France.
