I was elected New Spain’s governor and Captain general. I also discovered the Baja California Peninsula. When the Spanish feared my ambition, the Spanish Court revoked both my postions. They also revoked my rights and property.  

When I was in Hispanola and the Spanish headquarters Diego sent 1,400 to arrest me. It was like being in a box with no way out. To Diego’s dismay, I easily defeated his army. the ones that weren’t dead, I pesuaded them to join me.

After I established a name for myself , I met Diego Velaquez. Diego was a heavyset man with mild manners. He was also a devious politician and a ruthless commander. It was a strange how I took a liking to this guy. My liking didn’t last for long. About right when we had to fight the Aztecs we became bitter rivals. Our rivalry lead to deaths of spaniards And countless Native Americans. 

When I finally went on my trip I wasn’t even close to the New World Christopher Columbus already discovered. I was nearly starving and I was almost out of water. I was by myself. I was so mad at myself for even taking the trip. I was so sad until I spotted land. Then after many months I arrived in Santo Domingo.

I never earned a degree in college. At least I thought I couldn’t so, I went back home.My parents were suprised to see me also they were astonished at how rebellious I became. They were about to throw me out when I asked them if they could raise money for my ocean trip. They liked the idea of getting rid of me so they accepted. They finally raised enough money for my ocean voyage! They gave me my stuff and bid me goodbye. When they were out of sight, I took the money and ran some where else and I secretly never went on my voyage until I was older.
