How has adding music and drama helped your learning?

Adding music and drama has helped my learning. Drama can help you act. You can tell the equations when you act it out. Music can help you sing. It can help you count by 5s. Teachers should add drama and music to math because children can learn from other students this way.

What have you learned this year in math?

This year in math I have learned a lot. I learned multiplication and I learned games. Ms. Beth taught  me money games and  racing games. I learned math problems. She knows a lot.

Can your students tell me about some good math games that I can use with my students in Winooski?

Dear Ms. Kirsten,

I can teach you how to play a new game. The game is Handful  of Cubes. There are 60 cubes in the box. You pick a handful of cubes. You count the cubes. Then you subtract from 60 to find out how many are left in the box. This game will teach your class subtraction. I like the game.

What did you learn this week in math?

This week in math we learned subtraction.  We learned Handful of Cubes. We had to pick a full hand of cubes. We counted the cubes. We wrote the answer.  Subtraction is easy and hard.

Video games help me understand math better.  Video games are cool to play  and can help you think. Games can help you learn addition and multiplication and subtraction. Yes,  I  like  math games.
