Adding music and drama has helped my learning.  Music helped me with math. It teaches me subtraction and math helps me with everything. Acting with Ms. Joan was fun. Acting helps me learn multiplication. I think Ms. Beth should keep teaching math and music and drama.

What have you learned this year in math?

This year in math I have learned a lot of things. I have learned math games and addition and multiplication. We also learned counting money and telling time. Math can help you with anything. I feel a little nervous about math.

Dear Ms. Kirsten,

I can tell you about a good math game that I know. I will tell you about Count and Compare Money. This is how it goes: You pick out a card and you count the money and you write it down. Your  partner picks out a card too.  Spin to see who will win: the person who has more or less. This game teaches me how to count money.

What did you learn this week in math?

I learned about subtraction this week in math. We learned how to play math games. We did subtraction in my number book this week. We subtract 0, 1and2 from others numbers. Subtraction is a little hard for me.
