The things that I’m excited about is that  I’m moving to a new house.I get a new room with more space than my old one.I even get a desk to do my homework on,a bigger closet a bigger bed.I even have TV,phone,and computer hookup I love the different colour schemes that my parents picked out. I like the fire place in the great room.

                                             Mount Merapi

Did you know Mount Merapi is in Indonesia.It is a stratovolcano which means it has more than

1 vent. It looks like a hippo from far away. Small eruptions occur every 2-3 years while large

ones occur every 10-15 years or so.

Did you know mount Merapi is the youngest volcano in southern Java region.

Its name means mountain of fire.It is also the second most active volcano in Indonesia.

It is located in the Pacific Ring of Fire.It’s last eruption was 2008.It’s most deadly eruption was in 2006.A lava dome is still being formed on top of the volcano!Isn’t that cool?
