When everyone was at Pennsbury Manor I was at the school I’m going to next year in Virginia.  It was so much fun!!  In the begging of the day my class and I had math then we played a fun question game .  After that we went to the computer lab/library so they could work on their writing projects (I just watched). Later we had snack outside then advisory (we wrote poems).  We then went to art where we used a scanner machine and then changed the color online.  Lunch was next and was so much fun!  I bought tacos and sat with two girls named Tahlia (TA -LI-A) and a person whose name I forget.  You can do anything during lunch! Play ping pong, or play basketball or any other sport. You can also eat lunch anywhere.  After that was gym. We played kick ball with the principal!  Music was next, the girls listened to music while the boy’s played in their band.  Lastly the teacher read a book and we took out the class hamster and the two corn snakes. It was really Awesome!!!!

I really liked the movie Oceans.  I had great shots of some animals I’ve never even heard of before!  My favorite part was the part with the sea otters.  They were so cute!  It felt like I was really in the ocean with all the sea creatures.  It was amazing that the scuba divers were brave enough to swim next to sharks and whales and go in to the deepest, darkest parts of the ocean.  I thought Oceans was a really awesome and breath taking movie!

Kids should not be homeschooled.  Some reasons why are the lack of socialization, the lack of culture, and bad expectations.

Homeschooling prevents kids from being socialized.  The lack socialization leads to shyness, and not working in groups well together.  Kids who are homeschooled won’t get to work with friends and kids their age.

Students who are homeschooled are not exposed to culture like children who go to public or private schools.  If students are homeschooled they will have fewer fieldtrips. They may not get taught a second or third language. They probably will not get to have special activities like gym, art ECT too.

The expectations of a homeschooled child’s behavior are lower than a child who goes to a public or private school.  Also, without having peers’ work and opinions to talk about they might not be as open minded or competitive.

The lack of socialization, the lack of culture, and the bad expectations are only some of the reasons homeschooling is not good.

I researched the Eastern Screech Owl today.  Here are some facts about it: They are small, about 9 inches on average.  They are similar to the Western Screech Owl.

Their call lasts about two to three seconds.  They do not call in flight unless they are scared. The last fact is that they hunt from dusk to dawn.  I really like the Eastern Screech Owl!

Pirates from Grammar Island was really fun.  I was a one of  the collectors of synonyms.  I was also the queen of Pronouns servant.  One of my favorite things about the play was getting to not wear shoes and socks in school!  I also really liked being with my friends.  Pirates from Grammar Island was an awesome experience!!
