Every kid should have a pet.  It would give only children
company when they’re lonely.   It will also give kids responsibility.  And last, but not lest, you will get exercise.

Some kids are an only child, like me, so I get lonely a lot.  If I had a pet I wouldn’t be so lonely any more.  I could play outside with my pet and take them on walks instead of playing video games or watching TV at home.  They can also comfort you when you’re scared.

Having a pet will also give kids a responsibility.  If you have a pet you can walk him and you can feed him, you can groom him and you can bath him.

If kids have pets they will get more exercise.  They could walk the pet, play fetch and Frisbee.  If you play tug of war you will build up you’re arm muscles.  If you play chase you’re building up you’re leg muscles.

If your parents don’t let you get a pet you can help a friend find the right pet for them.  You can also save an animal from the street or the SPCA.  I strongly recommend that kids should have a pet.  They are trustworthy, worthwhile, and amazingly adorable!!!!

I found some interesting facts about The Burrowing Owl one is that The Burrowing Owl is on the endangered list.Another fact is that they are also called The Ground Owl.  He eats insects and rodents. He also flies low to the ground.  The male digs the burrows out for the family.  Their colorful feathers  help them camouflage.  They sit on rocks or branches and they prefer short dry grass.  they also use abandoned holes if they cant find any the males dig the burrows. The last fact is that The Burrowing Owls live in the US , Central America and South America.  So those are some facts about The Burrowing Owl. :)
