Wow! I never knew fourth grade would be so much fun…….but I also didn’t know I would have Mrs. Kolbert for a teacher!  Mrs. Kolbert makes every day an adventure! She has taught us many wonderful things.  One of my favorite things to do in fourth grade is to blog. Mrs. Kolbert taught us all about blogging. Blogging is where you write a story or information that you would like to share with others on the computer.  Then, people from all over the world can read your blog and comment on it. Mrs. Kolbert had a class blog where she would post movies, pictures, and stories about our class.  She would even let us write our own blogposts on the class blog. She also taught us about a program called voicethread. Voicethread is a site where you can make a slideshow or video and others can watch it and comment on what you made. All in all, fourth grade with Mrs. Kolbert was the best.

Lights! Camera! Action!  I think that I, Alayna, should be the student chosen to be on WOWL. Although many people know me for being shy and quiet, I can be REALLY loud , and I love to be in front of the camera.  At home, my brother and I do movies and put on plays for my parents.  I have had many experiences being in front of an audience and on camera.  I have many great ideas for WOWL , and I would like to tell everyone and let my voice be heard.  I  know how to speak clearly and fluently and how to turn a boring speech into a fun, and exciting monologue that no one will ever forget.  Having heard many great things about WOWL, I would now like to experience them all for myself.

Here is a clip of me playing the part of “Snoopy” in “You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown” during summer acting camp 2009.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GBv2RGEZZH4

Everyone has a favorite pet. Mine is my golden retreiver dog, Frisco. He is 13 years old and is still in pretty good shape. He loves to play fetch.(Though sometimes instead of running he walks to retrieve the ball.) And he loves to be outside. What is YOUR favorite pet? On your comment please leave your favorite pet and then name your favorite breed and why it is your favorite pet.

P.s. If you don’t have a pet, you can just tell about one of your neighbor’s, friend’s, or cousin’s pets

Thanks  :)
