Hello to you the new 4th graders. My name is Gabby. I was in Mrs. Kolberts  homeroom last year and I realized alot about Mrs.Kolbert.

I learned that Mrs.Kolbert

I could tell Mrs.Kolbert  liked, loved, or enjoyed all of these things after the first month of school.  I just wanted to let you know this so you know what to expect in 4th grade. Have an excellent year with Mrs.Kolbert in 4th grade. I bet you will have a 100% fun-learning in Mrs.Kolbert’s class in the year of 2010-2011.

I know everyone out there loves to read books and if you don’t it’s okay. I will agree with the people out there who don’t enjoy reading because when I was in kindergarten and 1st grade I disliked reading so much I never wanted to read in my whole entire life, but as I got older I realized if you don’t read you can’t really learn.  So from this day on I think everyone out there should enjoy reading. :) :)

Ted Deutch won the election and is now one of  our  congressman.   Do all of us kids know that?    I attended Ted Deutch’s victory party last night because we are such good friends with the  Deutch family.  At the victory party last I went up to Ted Deutch an congratulated him in person and I did the same to his kids and his wife, Jill.  (the one who comented on my post titled Vote)   Also while I was at the victory party last night I told Ted “I have a new blog post to write”  He was very proud of me and he said “I will try to check it out.”  Lastly,  I was there in the front row sitting on the floor when Ted Deutch gave his victory speech.  Is that cool or what?  This was a special election because Robert Wexler retired.  There will be another election in November.

There once was a very dead mummy

Who was a very big dummy

He had so much money

Thought it was funny

And had a big fat tummy

I think I should be chosen for WOWL because,

  • I can speak fluently and loud (so everyone can hear me)
  • Can be at school as early as possible (because I live so close)
  • Have great behavior in class.
