Currently, there is a fabulous musical at Sol Children’s Theatre called Oliver Twist. Oliver Twist is about a boy named Oliver Twist who escapes from a workhouse and meets a gang of pickpockets (people who steal) in London. The show is full of great music and actors that are so entertaining to watch. Try to make it to a show!

P.S. All the info at the top of the web page is about Oliver Twist

For Field Day, Our class is representing the country Djibouti. Not many people know about the country but I thought you (my blog readers) would like to know about it.

Djibouti’s capital is Djibouti (city). A 2009 estimate of Djibouti’s (country) population showed there was only about 864,000 people living there!!!! WOW! In Djibouti they speak mostly Arabic and French. Their President is Ismail Omar Guelleh and their Prime Minister is Dileita Mohamed Dileita.

In Djibouti, their economy is poor. Many people there face food shortages and hunger. There is not much rainfall in Djibouti so, it is hard to grow crops for food.

The religion in Djibouti is mostly Islam. 94% of people are Islam and only 6% are Christians! Talk about not much variety!!

The climate in Djibouti is mostly hot and arid. They have many beautiful beaches too because of the climate. Also, the people in Djibouti wear usually t-shirts and jeans because of the hotness.

Finally, You might be interested in seeing their Flag and Coat of arms.
