My name is Julianna and I just  wanted to share with you the secrets, surprises, and wonderful things you can expect from being in Mrs. Kolbert’s class.

First of all, Mrs. Kolbert loves technology.  We do lots of fun activities on the computer and sometimes, we even get to use the Mac-book lap tops from the media center.  I enjoy that very much.  We also go on our class blog and get to comment on posts or sometimes even make our own. In addition to our class blog, we have our kid-blogs. This is a fun website that lets students our age create blogs in their class. I like writing and posting blog posts. We go on Gizmos and do fun experiments instead of actually having to do them and wait a long time for the results.

My second fantastic reason is the learning experience.  The way that Mrs. Kolbert provides all the materials makes it easier for me to do what I need to do in school.  Also, everyone in my class was nice and my teacher made sure everyone treated me fairly.  In addition, she treated everyone equally.

Finally, what I liked so much about Mrs. Kolbert’s class was…drum-roll please…Mrs. Kolbert!  She has been cheerful, cooperative, patient, fun, joyful and nice to all the students.  She comes into class every morning with a cheery smile ready to start the day.

Now you know why I have enjoyed every minute of the year while being in Mrs. Kolbert’s class.  I hope you enjoy fourth grade as much as I did!

She had been a dancer when she was a kid, and so she wanted me to do it. I really was not  interested because:

  1. I was not very interested in dance.
  2. I had taken classes when I was little, and I had not enjoyed them very much.
  3. I was already doing soccer, gymnastics, and Hebrew school.
  4. I needed time to do my homework.

She kept on trying to persuade me to do it, but I kept putting her off. No matter how hard she tried, she never got me to try it.

What is your opinion?
