Our class has a country we represent for our field day. (PE day). Our country is Djibouti. Djibouti is a country found in Africa. Here is a picture of it’s flag. A popular food there is Yetakelt Wet which is a vegetable soup. Djibouti’s average temperature is a flaming 95 degrees. The coldest is 85 degrees and the hottest is 108 degrees. This is a picture of Djibouti clothing.

Good info, Elly. I like how you say, “…flaming 95 degrees.” It’s true that is very hot. Where did you get your information?

95 is much like where you live in August! It’s a little more hot on average, and you get a little cooler in the winter because you’re further from the equator, but some days it could be the same.

Thank you for sharing this interesting information about Djibouti. I also love how you put the links up for the flag and the clothing. It is very hot there! I live in Mobile, Alabama in the USA and it is 65 degrees right now. Thanks again for sharing this information. Have a great day. This is the first time I have had anything about Djibouti brought to my attention. I am so glad to know something about this country and glad that I don’t have to live in that flaming weather! I love your adjective! I would prefer to live somewhere that it wasn’t summer all year long so I can experience a little bit of cold weather, too!

I really enjoyed your post. I don’t think I have ever really heard of this place until now! I also enjoyed the way that you included pictures.
