That is how you write an “I am” poem. Plese write your own poem.

    This is great, Ethan. Other who read this may like to write their own poem too. Thanks for sharing the framework. Now the creativity is up to the poet, right?

    Thank you Ethan for sharing How to create an “I am” poem. I teach 2nd grade in Grand Rapids, Michigan and I will use this with my students. They will love knowing that I learned about the “I am” poem from a student in Florida.

    Thank you for sharing your form for “I am” poetry. I teach 7th grade in Kenton, OH, and my students have used a similar form called a Bio Poem. It’s sometimes fun to write these kinds of poems about characters in the books you read! You should try it!
