Mrs.Kolbert is an awsome teacher. She is very kind and fun. You’ll have the most fun year of your life in Mrs.Kolbert’s class. Welcome to Mrs. Kolbert’s class where we do everything from blogging to videoconferencing. When you step in her class, you will see a frog, a microscope, and more science things that you will want to investigate.

Just so you know, you will be doing a lot of writing this year, and science, and social studies.

Mrs. Kolbert is a teacher who loves teaching kids, but she teaches teachers too. She loves to see kids learning and she likes to see them learning happily. She is an amazing teacher and I am happy you are finally in her class.

The Expetations to New 4th Graders in Mrs. Kolbert’s Class

In Mrs. Kolbert’sclass, students are expected to be on their best behavior. They should be even more behaved when there is a substitute. You should bring in your homework on time and finished! Mrs. Kolbert is really nice so she doesn’t yell at you. But even so, you still should finish your homework like MOST people. You should always do your work quietly and raise your hand when you have a question (which you should ask often) or a comment (which is always nice). When the teacher makes a mistake. don’t laugh at her! Everybody makes mistakes (which includes you)! Don’t be late for school! It doesn’t make a big difference you say but it is because excellent students never gets late ( 1 or 2 times is okay).

This is the A+ kind of student Mrs. Kolbert is looking for!!!!!

Hey! If you are reading this blog post and you are in third grade, well then hold on to your seats and lets explore the wonders and talents of Mrs.Kolbert. First of all, she is an expert on technology. If you have a problem with your computer, she can fix it as quick as a wink. She also writes interesting blogs that you can comment on and she has Kidblogs where you can type your own blogs. No kidding! She also helps you become a master at writing and gets you ready for the big FCAT Writes. She also breezes you through Science and Social Studies with fun activities and experiments you all will enjoy and learn from. If you do something wrong with Mrs. Kolbert around, don’t worry. She is calm and extremely understanding, so it’s not the end of the world! She also hosts some great parties with fun activities and never leaves you bored. Goodbye to 4th Grade

The year is ending which means I will be leaving Mrs.Kolbert’s 4th grade class and I will no longer write any more posts on this wonderful blog. With that being the case, I would like to tell next years students what to expect in Mrs.Kolbert’s 4th grade class…

One thing to expect is your Kid Blog accounts and all the other technology fun Mrs.Kolbert has in store. In case you don’t have any notion as to what a Kid Blog is, I will explain. A Kid Blog is an online blogging space just for kids where they write blogposts and receive comments. Another computer thing you may do is a webinar which is when you hear the other person’s chatter and voice but you can’t see them. Of course there are lots of other things in store computer wise, but you’ll just have to be in Mrs.Kolbert’s class and see for your self!

The best thing to expect in Mrs.Kolbert’s class next year is the fun, creative teacher herself. Mrs. Kolbert was definitely the best homeroom teacher I’ve ever had. She can turn a boring kind of thing like the parts of a cell into a fun project as in a rap with costumes and lots more. Not only is she fun and creative, but she’s super smart too which means she can solve a problem any day. Plus she has all the supplies imaginable. Over all Mrs.Kolbert is a well-rounded person that you should expect to have a fun time with if you follow the rules.

This leads me to tell you how Mrs. Kolbert makes all kinds of learning fun. For most everything we learn there is an activity waiting in the wings. One of the many non-boring activities was in science. To understand more about a category like simple machines we did rap songs using science concepts in the song. We were lucky to have Mrs.Kolbert and her fun activities.

Hope you have a funtasic year with Mrs.Kolbert, I know I did. This is officially my last blog post so sadly I have to say goodbye! GOODBYE!

What To Expect In Mrs.Kolbert’s Class

Mrs. Kolbert is a extraordinary teacher and does amazing things with us fourth graders, but there are necessary expectations that are needed to be met.

To begin with, the basic rules are: no hitting or touching anyone, don’t interrupt the class, don’t talk when the teacher’s talking unless you have a question or comment, but no calling out, raise a quiet hand, turn in your homework and school work on time. If you don’t bring you’re school work in on time you could get points deducted from you’re grade. Don’t think, ”what if I forget my homework, will I have to sign the book?” Mrs. Kolbertcan easily work things out, but if you haven’t been turning in your homework repeatedly there will be consequences. Participate in school activities, if you don’t, points will be deducted from your grade or you will receive other consequences.

Don’t worry, there is an upside, Mrs.Kolbert is so awesome that she lets our class do wordles, Daily quotes, and Video conferences with people. For example, we video chatted with Erica Ebbel, a scientist (to find out more click here). Mrs Kolbert is a great teacher, she helps you practise for palm beach writes by making this thing called kolbert writes. She also does really cool experiments with us,one of them was we brought in bubble gum and we saw who could blow the biggest bubble. We also have our own blogs wich are really cool. Mrs Kolbert has a class blog and she post some of our things on there. Mrs Kolbet does many things with tecnology that are really cool. She is one of the best teachers I have had since kindergarten. She also does wordles, when she does those we have to think about what all the words she puts on the screen have incomin. She also does quotes, when ashe does that you have to guess what the saying means (usally by famous people).We somtimes have video chats with some scientists.
