For field day at our school we are doing it as if it were the Olympics so each class has to pick a country. My teacher Mrs. Kolbert picked Djibouti. So here are some fun facts about Djibouti.

The location of Dijibouti is inĀ  Eastern Africa bordering the Red sea and the Gulf of Aden.

The area is slightly smaller than Massachusetts.

Their area is 23,180 sq. km.-land 20 sq.km. -water so inall thats 23,200 sq.km.

While I was researching Djibouti I leared some very amazing information.Did you?

This is their flag.

This is where it is located in Africa.

I got my info from https://www.cia.gov/library/publications/the-world-factbook/geos/dj.html

Gee, you are learning some interesting things. I never heard of the country Dijibouti. How do you pronounce it? I guess I’ll have to click on the sight to learn more about the country.
