Hey Everyone!

How cool is this? You’ve seen our class blog. Some of you have even had some of your writing featured in our blog and I love how a few of you even created your own blogs! Well, now you ALL have your own blogs. All you have to do is choose your name and then enter your password. You know what it is, but if you forgot it, just ask me and I’ll remind you. Here’s a hint. It’s only 4 numbers!

Whenever you’re ready, feel free to create your first blogpost!

Dear Mrs. Kolbert, I teach in Philadelphia. My 4th grade students are blogging about countries and have had comments from people that live in many different countries, have visited different countries or have studied about these countries. Please feel free to show your students our blog and if they would like to share about the countries blogged about..they should feel free to comment.

    Dear Mrs. Kolbert’s Class,

Your computer teacher, Mr. C, told me about your KidBlogs site and I had to check it out. I am so impressed with your writing, and I am going to have my students do some blogging too! I’ll post a link when they get started, so you can read their writing and perhaps, we can read more of yours!

    Keep up the great work!

Lee, Just had to check out kidsblog.org after you talked about it on the Saturday DEN.I have shared the site with a few teachers but not sure any are up and running.I believe the heart of educating young people today is mainly about making connections and building relationships. Your passion for kids, learning, and technology is obvious! Keep your voice out there for all in education. You are a win win for kids and teachers. Your #1 fan and follower in San Antonio.

Thanks Rich! I appreciate your support.

I am doing research for my Master’s in Ed Tech and I came across this site. Thanks for putting it out there for people like me to check out! I am soooo excited that even if the school year is almost over, I will be starting this with my 5th graders next week. What an inspiration!
