I like to relax too. To relax, I enjoy catching up on some reading and visiting with some old friends. Tonight I met a friend and we went to see a movie and had dinner. It’s nice to spend time with people you haven’t seen in awhile. What do you do to relax?

You know, I think teachers are a lot like kids! As much as I like my time at school, I like my time away from school equally well. Today, I went to a Big XII Indoor Track Meet to watch one of my former students who is a runner. Do you imagine you will keep in touch with some of your teachers after you stop having them as teachers?
I also did some shopping with my wife. Usually, I like to do something fun and then spend the rest of the weekend resting up for another week.

Mr. McDonald here from Swan River,Manitoba , Canada. During the winter months I spend a lot of my weekends in a hockey rink. I’m either watching my two teenage sons play, or taking part in a game myself. During the summer months , I spend most weekends at the golf course or at the lake. Weekends are always very busy but also so much fun !

This weekend was special. My 2 yr. old nephew spent all weekend with me. We played lots of silly games, read stories, and took long naps. During the week I teach & go to school, so I like to catch up on my sleep, read books, and hang out with my friends on the weekends.

I begin my weekend by falling asleep about 7:30 Friday night watching tv. I wake up at about 9:30 to watch a movie with Mrs.G. I get out of bed around 10:00 on Saturday morning unless there is a Cub Scout event for us to attend. I do a few chores on Saturday afternoon.
Sunday afternoon and night I grade papers and make lesson plans.
You know, I need some more fun in there.

Thanks for asking. I enjoy spending time online learning more about how to use Web 2.0 tools with my 4th grade students. I also enjoy eating out with my friends and reading.
here in the UK the weekend is always important to us teachers. Our curriculum is very busy so once we have our paperwork and planning done we make the most of our time. I love to go walking with our family dogs. I live in the north of the UK and we get a lot of rain but I don’t mind. I’m not very far from the coast and we have about 8 castles dotted along from the river Wear up the Northumberland coast to Scotland – great for dog walking! And great for photography too! Hope your weekend’s been a good one!

This weekend my daughter came home from the University of Arkansas and my other three daughters spent all day Saturday with her. This let my wife and I watch some movies together. On Sundays we go to church.
