I am Earth…

I  wrote  an   ”I  am”   poem   in  Mrs.Kaplan’s  class.  I  hope  you  enjoy  it.

I  am  Earth

You  know  me  for  the  land  and  water  I  offer  you

I  live  in  an  endless  black  world

My  best  freind  is  Sun

Because  of  his  light  and  heat  that  affects  my  weather

I  fear  Pollution

Because  he  devours  me  slowly

I  love  eco-freindly  kids

Because  they  demolish  vicious  Pollution

I  dream  of  0%  Pollution  for  all  eternity

    WOW! You made the reader actually visualize being the earth. You have talent when it comes to poetry.

    Do you like Shel Silverstein? He is one of my favorites. Another poet I like is Bruce Lansky.

    Beautiful! I love “You know me for the land and water I offer you.” Sounds almost musical.

    Nice poem. Did you make it yourself?
    My favorite line is when it said “I live in an endless black world”
    Because it shows we do live in an endless black world.
