This book is called Numbering The Bones by Ann Rinaldi.  The time period of this book is probably in a war because in this book a part says, “Slaves have run off last year to join the Yankees.”  Anyway this book is about a girl named Annalee and she was helping a man named Mr.Hompton.  He says that he doesn’t like people with authority. Annalee helps Mr.Hompton so he trys to make people not have too much authority. Later in the story he gets married and everything is great want to know what happens in this story then try it out!

I recommend this book to a person who likes historical fiction books. From a rate from 1-10 I would give it a give 5 I’m not a really a fan of historical fiction books.

This book is called Wishes,Kisses, And Pigs  by Betsy Hearne. This story starts off with a girl named Louise on top of a mountain watching a sunset. Her brother Willie comes behind her and says, “Go feed the pigs.” She said it wasn’t her turn and later they start arguing.  Louise says, “I wish you were gone!” Then Willie left. Later that day it was dinner Louise Mom said, “Wheres Willie?” Louise says, “I don’t know.” Usually Willie was at the dinner table with a fork and knife in his hand. A couple days later they found a new pig in the pig pen. They were thinking it was Willie because they never saw a pig with sky blue eyes. Want to know what happens after that? Trying reading the book!

I recommend  this book to someone who likes mystery and fantasy books.  If I had to rate this book from 1-10, I would give it a 8 because it was a really good book.  So why don’t you try it?

This book is called Big Nate On A Roll  by Lincoln Peirce.  It is about a boy named Nate.  He was in detention and he was going to be late for his boy scout meeting. When he got out of detention he got ready and went to the boy scout meeting.  He rode his skateboard to the meeting, but he bumped into a lady.  When he bumped into her he lost his skateboard into the lake. So he walked to the meeting when he got there.  He was late and missed it. Want to know what happens next? Try reading it!

I would recommend this book to a person who likes humor and graphic books. I would give this book a rating of 9 on a scale of 1 – 10.  It was a really good book but though it it changed the subject a little.

Full Throttle Hummer  tells how the hummer was made and used.  This book is an informational book written by Tracy Maurer.  This book was released in 2008. It tells how a hummer was made and for what reason and how the military used them.

The interesting things I think is the military used the hummer in World War II.   Later the military asked for a updated version of the hummer.   Scientists asked what can replace a hummer? Well they thought and thought and finally made the humvee.  It can resist water up to 2.5 feet and 0.8 meters.  The final fact I think is interesting is the engine of a humvee and hummer is a 6.6-liters and a turbocharger and it can go up to 300 horsepower.

From a scale from 1-10, I would give it a 6.  This book gives you a lot of information but I don’t like informational books that much and I would recommend this book to people who like cars and informational books.
