Then they begin several hobbies together, such as giant worm hunting, sneaking out of home to meet, and they soon go on an adventure to see the sun rise in Philadelphia. On their journeys, David believes that if he can follow rules, that his mother will come back. I may have told too much, to find out if Dave’s mother does come back, READ THE BOOK!

Eleven Birthdays by Wendy Mass is about how Amanda Ellerby has one wish: that on the night of her tenth birthday that she hadn’t walked by her best friend Leo’s room. That night, Leo and some boys from school were talking back and forth and saying stuff like, “Dude, it’s lame that you still have a party with a girl,” and “I know, but she doesn’t have many other friends.”  That was all she had to hear to run home weeping, and she got rid of everything she had to do with him.  So, she is having her eleventh birthday alone, and the theme is Hollywood for her party, but she gets stuck with a Dorothy costume that itches A LOT!  After her birthday is over, she is SO glad it is and cannot wait for tomorrow. She wakes up to her alarm the next day, and it’s her birthday again! So, it all goes through again like yesterday, and she falls asleep ready for tomorrow, again! Same result the next morning, too!  If you want to find out more, read the book!

On a scale of one to ten, I would give it a ten, it is my FAVORITE story this year! If you like books with mysterious problems, READ THE BOOK!

Fabulous Facts About The Fifty States by Wilma Ross is about the fifty states and amazing facts about them.  It was published in 1986, and it states the population, square kilometers, what number state it was, and it’s state bird and flower. When you keep reading, it will tell you about some popular places in the state, then tells about the agriculture, mining, fishing, and manufactured goods of the state, too!

After reading this book, I found out many things, but these are some really interesting ones. Did you know that Alaska is the biggest state in the United States? It is the size of Texas two and a half times! Also, did you know that Deleware was the first state?  It was the first colony to accept the Constitution! Lastly, I learned that the capital of Rhode Island is a city called Providence! That is a really cool name!

Now, on a scale of one to ten, I give it a ten definitely! It was packed with information that I did not know, and it made it easy to understand.  If you are curious about what the other states are like, then you HAVE to read this book!
