Bud, Not Buddy is written by Christoper Paul Curtis. This book is about a kid named Bud but make sure not to call him Buddy.  His mom died four years ago and he’s been living in a foster home ever since then.  Now he finds some clues about how his supposed father is and how to get to him.  Finally after some time to think he goes to try to find his father. This book is truly filled with a very interesting book theme.

I personally I love this book.  For people who like a kind of mysyery book I advise you read this.  On a scale of one to ten, I rate this book a ten because this book is amazing.

Peter and the Starcatchers is a great book written by no other than the famous fantasy writers Dave Barry and Ridley Pearson! This book is based on the cherished movie Peter Pan. This book is about a kid named Peter and his orphan friends.  Peter takes a voyage on this boat called the Never Land and on this voyage he meets a strange girl named Molly.  Molly is part of a group called the Starcatchers who find meteor like dust that changes people, animals, and other stuff into wonderful things giving them shocking attributes that can make them fly or have super strength.  This meteor like stuff called star stuff is in a big trunk on the Never Land.  Black Stache (the most feared pirate ever to live) is after the richest treasure in the world which is the star stuff.  Will captain Black Stache get the treasure without a good fight?  Find out more by reading this book in the school library.

I personally think this is my second favorite book.  I love how there is so much weird and different stuff in this book.  On a scale between one to ten, I rate this book a ten because I think its in the top five in the most extraordinary books ever to be created.  I would refer this book to anyone who likes strange and fantasy books.

Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Cabin Fever is about a kid named Greg and he has a diary that he writes everything in it.  He talks about how his life is so sad and terrible.  Some may even say wimpy.  He gets stuck in his house during winter break because of a snow storm.  It is so terrible that he starts to run out of food and a lot of bad things happen to him.  His family and him go nuts!  This book was written by the famous Rick Roidian.

I think Cabin Fever is the best book ever.  I love that it has so much humor in this book.  I even felt like laughing out loud in class when I was reading it.  On a scale between 1 and 5 I rate this a 5 because, like I said, it is so funny.  I would recommend this book to anyone who likes humor, has a sense of humor, and ages 10 to 14 because small kids might not get the humor the book has.

I’m Dan the invisible man,

so don’t bother looking

for me.  No matter how

watchful you are, I’m someone you

can’t see. Although I eat

visible food, I still

remain perfectly clear,

and if I stopped talking

you’d have no idea I

was here.

I love to relax in the

tub and scrub my

invisible skin, then

and shave my invisible

chin. I wear an invisible

shirt, invisible trousers

and vest. I really don’t

know why I do, you can’t

even tell that I’m dressed.

I flash an invisible smile,

I strike an invisible pose

I scratch my invisible

ears. I blow my invisible

nose.I recently went to

the beach and got a

spectacular tan.Of

course I can’t prove it,

because I’m Dan the invisible man.

This poem is a rhymy poem book with some not rhymy poems but mostly rhymy poems. This poem is in the book a PIZZA the size of the SUN  which is written by an author that has written a lot of poetry books. I chose this book because it looked like a funny book with some silly poems. I think the author means is that you can sometimes be unnoticed, but you still do normal stuff and have normal feelings. This poet is jack prelutsky.

I think this poem would be easy to recite to the class if I had about a month. I love this book personally because this is a really funny book to me and short poems. I think everyone should read this book because it really is good and funny for all ages. I rate this book a five out of one to five because this book is great.

It is a snowy day as it is in Denver, Colorado. Christina and Grant are at their hotel.  What is that? A note in their room! This a crazy winter break for Christina and Grant, and I mean crazy. Christina and Grant have yet another mystery on their hands on winter break. There are some suspicious people following them. They’re so desperate to get them they put a tracking device on their car. This mystery is unlike any other. It is dangerous with some suspicious guys.

This book is very good because it really pulls you into the story with the suspicious happenings. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes non-violent mysteries. On a scale of one and five I would rate this a four point five because the ending could have been more mysterious.  I personally love this book because I’m just a mystery kind of guy.
