Big Nate starts off like this.  Nate and the rest of the class where in class and Mrs.Miller called on Nate to answer the question she had asked and Nate was so mad she did but really he was just dreaming.  And then when Nate  was getting dressed his best friend was reading a history text book and then he said to himself, “I should have listened to my teacher yesterday because we have a quiz today”.  So he started thinking of really bad planes to get out of school that day. But turns out they didn’t. Nate forgot his lunch at home so he asked Teddy if he could share with him during lunch because the lunch at ther’er school lunch was so bad. So Teddy gave him a forchon cookie to eat Nate opened the cookie and it had said “You will surpass all others”. Nate was so HAPPY he was running from place to place but the day was so bad he got 6 detention slips in one day he had broke the record! anyway he was so happy he had done what the forchon had said he surpassed all other things.

I recomend this book to people who love comdy I think its a really funny book on a scale on 1-10 I would go with 10.

Lunch Lady is written by Jarrett J.Krosoczka.  One day Lunch Lady was making a fresh batch of cookies for the author that’s coming to the school.  So when the author got there he started to set up in the gym. Then when the children came he started to tell them about what he does and how he writes books.  After the whole process he started to sign books.  When it was Hector’s turn, the author told Hector that he can’t sign books with rips in them.  So Hector went on about his business. Lunch Lady wondered why he did not sign Hector’s book so the next day she followed him home.  Nobody was there.  So she tried the next day and her and Betty came up with a plan to see what’s on with the author.  That night when they got there they had all their gear ready to go so they delivered pizza to the author’s house.  Lunch Lady snuck in while Betty was distracting the butler. So when she got in she saw a bunch of old pictures of the author when he was little boy and they were pictures of when he was getting bullied.  It was really sad but she said to herself, “This is why he is mean to people.”  Then he came and saw her and he pushed a button and she fell in a room with a bunch of bunnies. While the kids were upstairs trying to eat all the caouches back to normal and they did with the smell of sweaty socks whie Lunch Lady got away from the bunny they all got out and went back home but the author got away on a plane so they all got supplies and threw them at the plane and it went down.  They all went home and that was done for the day.

I recommed this book to some one who loves comics.  On a scale from 1–10, I’ll give it a 10 because it’s a great book.

Closet

Just what is it

in the closet

that I positivly

hear?

Dose it guzzle?

is it grizzeled?

dose it dazzel?

is it frazzeld?

has it nozzeld?

was it nuzzle in your ear?

If I razz it

or displeas it,

if  I tease  it

or suprise it,

if I faze it

or amaze it,

will  I cause it

to appear?

If the whoozit

in the closet

should inquisitively visit

just suppose it

pays a visit-

should I praise it?

or confuse it?

should I daze it?

or amuse it?

willI lose it

if I seize it?

will I bruise it

if i squeeze it?

will I  freeze it?

if I hose it?

will I please it

or abuse it

if  I use a spear?

Just what is it

that is nearly,

just what is it,

in the closet

that is positively

here?

This poem is from the book RoomiesI chose this poem because it’s funny and it’s a good story to read. It does rhyme.

I think the poet wrote this poem because most kids are scared to look in there closet.  I could recite this poem to my class because i think they would enjoy it.

In the beginning of Lunch Money there was a really talented boy who could do everything.  He could play soccer and cards. He got very good grades and was a master of money.  He knew how to handle money and how to spend money.  He had a really good sense of humor.  When he used his money, he used it on good things and somtimes he used it on toys and other cool stuff.  He was a boy who could use money the right way. He wanted to become rich and live in a mansion, but his mom shut his business down so he couldn’t run it at all.

I think Lunch Money is a good book because it has to do with money and I think lots of people should read it if they like money or know how to save it.  You can find this book either in Mrs.Mitchell’s room or in the library.

In the beginning of Masterpiece, a boy and his mother were trying  to find the wedding ring because it had fell down the drain in the bath room sink .  There were beetels in the house and the beetels over heard  what they were saying.  So the mama beetel hurried into the room to get her son because he was the only one out of grandpa who could swim. So they snuck across the hallway and made it to the sink and then he went down into the drain to get the wedding ring but the only problem was he didn’t know what an actual ring looked like.  So when he went down into the drain he found all sorts of stuff like pieces of hair and toenail clippings and other nasty things.  But then he saw something light up so he grabbed it and pulled himself up and put it by the toilet so it wouldn’t fall again.  So when the boy walked back into the bathroom he saw it and gave it to his mother and his mother was really happy to see it.
