In The Guardians of Ga’Hoole: The Journey all the owls are in the Great Ga’Hoole tree when a lightning bolt hits the tree and the tree gets destroyed.  Soren and the other owls look for another tree. The problem is that there are owls that can’t fly because they are hurt or injured. Those owls have to stay behind and wait for the others to come back and get them.  I wonder what happens next read the book.

On a scale of 1-10, I would give this book a 10 because I really like owls and I enjoyed reading the book. I think this is a good book for a person who likes fantasy and owls that can talk.

Diana Lopez is the author of Confetti Girl.  Lina is a sock collector and a science freak.  All she has at home are books.  She has no TV so what she does when she is bored is to sort and sort her socks in different ways. Lina’s parents divorced.  Her mom died.  She used to make cascarones.

On a scale from 1-10, I would give this book a 2 because I really didn’t like it at all.  I think this would be a good book for a person who enjoys realistic fiction.

Who would win? Tyrannosaurus Rex vs.Velociraptor is a informational book written by Jerry Pallotta.  It was published by Scholastics Inc. in 2010.  This book explains which dinosaur would win if they were alive.  It explains what would happen if both of these dinosaurs had a fight and which one would win.  It also describes the ways the dinosaur would win from the largeness.

I learned some very very interesting facts about dinosaurs that I didn’t know before I read this book.  First of all I didn’t know that the size of a dinosaur doesn’t matter to win.  Usually people think that the big dinosaur would win but that’s wrong the small one wins.  The small dinosaur wins because it has a pack that easily can make big cuts on the t-rex.  I always thought that the big dinosaur would always win.  I was wrong the small dinosaur won.

On a scale from 1-10, I would give this book a10 because it is short and has a lot of information in it.  I liked it a lot.  I think this is a great book for a person that trying to do a project on dinosaurs and a person that likes dinosaurs.

In Titanic by Gordan Korman, there is a killer on the Titanic ship.  Four children and their parents are asleep and didn’t know that there was a killer on the ship.  The kids find out more information about this person by spying on him.  The kids are in trouble when the Titanic ship hits the iceberg.  They have to run for their lives or they will drown in the freezing, cold water.  Read the book to find out.

In a scale from 1-10, I give this book a 5 because I kind of like it and I kind of don’t.  I think this is a good book for a person that likes historical fiction.
