Turtle in Paradise is a book that takes place in 1935 and its about a girl and her mom and her mom gets a new job as a housekeeper and the person she’s keeping for doesn’t like kids.  So they send turtle to live with her aunt Minnie, and she meets a lot of family up there.

I would give this book a 10-10 because it had adventure, jokes and other funny things! If you like all of the above I sooo think you should try it. Here I’ll say it slow so you’ll remember T-u-r-t-l-e  i-n   P-a-r-i-d-i-s-e.  Get it,  read it ,  good!

School of Fear by Gitty Daneshvari is a fantasy book that is about a school that just let out for SUMMER! Spiders, dying, confined spaces, and deep water. What else will they need to avoid this summer?  These four friends, Madeline, Theodore, Lulu, and Garrison, have to face their most terrifying fears as they go on adventures during their summer break. Will they make to the next school year?  Read it yourself and find out!

If you like not too scary but funny scary you should read this one!  I would give this one a 5 out of 10 because it was a little slow but still really interesting! I do like scary but not too scary.

Dork diaries: A Not So Talented Pop Star was written by Rachel Renée Russell.  The genre of this book is realistic fiction.  This book is a collection of diary entries written in the context much like a tween diary  “A-day-in-the-life-of” Nikki Maxwell, as Mom said so clearly one day.  Nikki includes daily adventures and encounters with her arch nemesis Mackenzie Hollister, who has taken it upon herself to make Nikki’s world a living disaster area! In this book Nikki has entered into a talent contest with her school, where 1st place wins an extraordinary prize, and

Mackenzie has stolen the show that Nikki has so carefully planned.  This series includes four books: Tales From a Not-So-Fabulous Life, Tales From a Not-So- Popular Party Girl, Tales From a Not-So- Talented Pop Star, (It’s also the one I’m reviewing today), How to Dork Your Diary, which I haven’t read  yet, but I feel like it’s going to be the best of all these books!!  These books lists as a “New York times Best-Selling series”.  I agree this series is a best seller!  It sold me!

So far I’m in love with this book series. They keep me hooked until I’m done and by the time I’m done I want read it again!  I would definitely give it a 10 out of a10!   It just keeps me hooked on the story and that’s what I love about it!

Red Riding Hood was written by James Marshall the genre is traditional literature.  This story is basically about a little girl who goes to her grandma’s house and on the way meets the wolf.  He’s very nice until he suggests she pick some flowers to take to grandma.  Well, in the end there’s a strange twist unlike any before. The wolf leaves Red Riding Hood to pick the flowers, so the girl thinks he just left her.  But he didn’t just leave.  He went to grandma’s house and…. Well, you will have to figure the rest out by reading the book.

I did enjoy reading this version of Red Riding Hood.   If you like funny stories I recommend this book  because it was such an exciting adventure and it held my interest until the end.  So I give it a 10 on a scale from 1 to 10.  It was a really good book and I hope you like it just as much as I did!

Goodbye Yesterday

By Anglan John Walsh

How shallow

is the pool of vanity!

But oh…

It sparcels.

I think it’s a little  different. You know what i mean. Like its… its… its…soft lovey, mushey, kind of thing.  I’m not really in to the whole poetry thing. So if I were to give it a rating I would give it a 5 out of10.

It came from Goodbye, Yesterday . I chose it because the poem looked instersting to me. it deos not rhyme so its free verse.  I think he wrote this poem because of something that happened to him or something that he went through like a break up, or a family member died. I could but I would not whant to.  I dont like geting in frunt of the class because of stage fright.
