As soon as a new friend named Laura saves them and Nancy’s friend’s legs were numb so Nancy’s friend could not feel her legs. Later on Nancy returns to River Heights and Laura calls but gets cut off (later they realized it was Lara Pendleton). One day Nancy comes home and there she is (Laura Pendleton) and she has a story to tell. She said that they were after her mother’s jewelry that Laura had kept. Laura said that Mrs. Aborn wanted Laura’s jewelry. So Laura climbed out her suite window and escaped to River Heights. Now Nancy has a mystery to solve can you find it out?

Here are three examples of Anne’s changes. The first change is with Matthew (Marilla’s husband and Annes new father) dead it is harder to take care of the farm. The second change is Marilla adopts a boy and a girl (they are twin brother and sister) there names are Davy and Dora. The last change is Anne becomes a school teacher. Anne is still herself. She is still friends with Diana and she is now very understanding. What else is it about? You have to read the book to find out.
