Johnny Appleseed

Johny appleseed   Is a book about Johnny Chapmin who loves apples. His mother dies right before he turns 2 years old. I got it at our school libery. This book is by Steven Kellogg. It tells about him planting appple seeds across America. I would rate this from1-10 in is an 8 because it Doesn’t tell as mutch as other Johnny Appleseed books.

    I really like to read books by Steven Kellogg but I haven’t read this one. Thanks for telling me about it. Have you read many books about Johnny Appleseed?

    I once read that planting apple seeds didn’t work as well as starting new apple trees from ‘cuttings’. Did Johnny apple seed actually use seeds? Did your book say how he planted them?
