The book is really funny and has funny valetines. But the most important thing about the story is that it teaches you how to be nice to your friends and classmates. The story is about Gilbert writing nice valentines. But Lewis and Margaret made fun of Gilbert so he didnt want to write nice things. So he wrote bad things and signed the cards with the wrong names. Magaret and Lewis started fighting and made the class do extra work. But when they found out Gilbert wrote the bad things, no body wanted to sit or play with Gilbert. But once Margaret and Lewis apologized for making fun of Gilbert, Gilbert went back to his desk to write nicer valentines.
On a scale to 1-10, I give this book a 10. I think its important that people are nice to each other.
