Like the title? I knew you would. This post is basically a short thank you note for you guys who have been reading and commenting on my blog. Thank you lots and lots and lots and lots! You sure all know how to make a girl feel special!!

.I am Smart Girlz Rock  & I’d like to tell you a few things about myself, things like how I’ve lived in the same house in Iowa my whole life, or how I love writing, or how my favorite author is Jerry Spinelli. But what  do you want to know? Why my screen name is Smart Girlz Rock? O.K,  I’ll start with that.  Not to toot my own horn, but I happen to be a “smart girl” myself. I don’t love mathmatics or social studies, but I didn’t say I hated  them. I love reading and writing, as I can give you a reveiw of most all books, and I have written numerous stories.

Another part of a person is thier favorites.  Thier favorite color, (lime)  book, (Eggs)  & animal (Giant Panda)  can say something about them. My favorite animal, the panda,I love so much,      I shaped my word cloud in honor of it! I also know it’s name in Latin and Chinese! I also LOVE Converse.(Have 10 pairs and wear a pair everyday!) My overall favorite thing is my family, though, and I close in saying I have the best Mom, Dad, Sister, Poodle, & 3 cats a girl could have.

I wanted to tell you about one of my favorite websites. It is called Storybird. I love it because you can look like a professional author through some pretty easy steps.

Step 1. Click on the button that says “Create”.

Step 2. Choose an illustrator. Choose the option that says “Create A Storybird With This Illustrator”.

Step 3. Choose a cover illustration. Create a name for your book.

Last Step:Choose an illustration like you did for your cover. Write on the other side of the page. Repeat for as many pages as you like.

Bella & Tara were best friends. How do best friends make the news?  Almost everyone has a best friend. Well,  Tara lived in an elephant sanctuary and Bella was homeless. Tara was an elephant, & Bella a stray dog. The elephant sanctuary was basically a fenced in field. Usually, elephants at the sanctuary made friends with each other, but Bella & Tara were an odd but adorable couple. Bella visited Tara every day, and Tara rubbed Bella’s tummy and petted her with her trunk. One day, Bella hurt herself. While the people at the sanctuary took care of her, Tara stood in the corner of the fence. Miles to roam & she stood in the corner! They were reunited though. But this happy story ends on a sad note, because just recently, Bella was attacked by coyotes. Tara will ALWAYS remember her, and you should too, because she was living proof that even people who are different from you can still be your friend.

The Happiest day of my life was probably the day my sister was born. I didn’t know it then, but now, I realize without that day I might not be where I am. And even when I get upset at her, I always forgive her. I’ve never thought about my happiest day because I have so many. But I’m sure that’s it, because now I know how much I need her. I love her because she’s unique, talented, fun, creative, smart, loving, cute, awesome & the best sister ever. I love you Maya.
