Over spring break I went to Orange Beach, AL.  When I went to Orange Beach I went para sailing , ghost crab hunting, i rode a cool boat, and I rode go carts. Internet safety is very important. This is because there are bad people that can talk TO you into doing bad stuff for example meeting with them. (BIG NO NO) These people are usually older people disguised as people who are your age so you will think its OK ….. well its NOT.  These people use social networking sites like us like myspace, facebook, twitter, Msn, and yahooooo. So if you are a kid who uses these sites mark your space as private so these no no bad people cant get to you or your information. If you decide that the person that you don’t know, are talking to and are going to meet up with them then you decide no i dont want to meet up with them RUN AND SCREAM FOR YOUR LIFE!

Do ever wonder why people want to change the license age from ~sixteen~  to  ~eighteen~? If you don’t you should because its the future of driving for you. I think about it all the time. I wonder why would they do such a cruel thing? I think that teenagers should be allowed to get their license at sixteen because its a nice number and most are very mature. I think, though, some people think it should be eighteen because that is the age you are legally an adult and completely mature.

Some bad things about getting your license at a young age is the not so mature people might drive their car to some party that has a good chance of having alcohol and get in a wreck or pulled over for drunk driving. Another bad thing is that teenagers might get in a big fight with their parents and drive off into the unknown.

The good thing about it is they can help their parents out by going to the store to get groceries or dropping their siblings off at where they need to go like their sporting events. They can also help drive on a long road trip when both of their parents get tired and the teen has been resting all day.

I hope this blog has informed people about the positive and negative effects about getting your license at a young age. I also hope this has changed the minds of the people who want to change the driving age.

Have you ever been in the middle of watching your favorite show and an commercial has come on about alcohol? I know it has happened to me before. I believe that alcohol commercials shouldn’t be on the television. This is because it might show children & teens that alcohol is okay even though their under age.  I also think this because it tries to influence adults that don’t drink to try it which isn’t good. They also try to convince people by showing men and women in inappropriate clothing drinking the drink to try to drag them in. They also try to say that it is okay to have a sip or two. But, its not it can lead to many dangerous things for example…

Have your parents ever told you that you are spending way too much time on your computer, ipod, or phone (etc)?  Do you realize that teens spend up to 7 hours on their electronic devices everyday! I didn’t know that until today (1-28-10) and I think that is way to much time to be spending on an electronic device daily.

A problem with using your electronic devices tons daily is it causes a distraction to many teens when they should be working on things involved in school. This is probably true because I, being a teen, go home and text 24/7 and watch t.v. while doing homework.
