Serving your country is something everybody should want to do. You can sign-up pretty easily. All you have to do is go to your nearest National Guard, or go online as well. The shortest term is for 15 months, after this you can sign on for longer if you would like. I wish I was in good enough shape to do so but unfortunately, I have flat feet and am not able but before I found that out I done some research and this is what I found out.

• There is 5 ways you can serve your country – Navy, Marines, Army, Military, and Air force.
• Marines are usually on water and when they are not they are helping the Military with the guns and tanks.
•  Military is usually on ground with guns and tanks.
• Air Force is in the air with planes or jets.
• Army is the United States protection program they go to Iraq and fight for us.

                 This information is interesting to me because this is OUR country and it is OUR responsibility to keep it safe.

I would like to be an Oncologist when I grow up. An Oncologist is a Doctor who deals with Cancers. I have wanted to be in the medical Field every since I can remember. I Chose to want to be an Oncologist because I love helping people and want to make something out of myself and why not be helpful while doing it.   I think if I become an Oncologist people will respect me, because I have chosen to join the family of doctors work with the biggest and most rapid problem for humans. I want to study Cancer because it happens to run on both sides of my family and that is what most of my past family members have died from, so I have had first hand experience on how it takes a toll on the family it involves. I want to be that person everyone looks up to and wants to be. Seeing children, adults, and elderly with Cancer makes me want to be able to help them more and more. Many people don’t stop and think about others when they are asked what they want to be when they grow up. I do believe I will accomplish this dream because I am a very strong willed  person and am able to do almost anything I set my mind to doing. I put myself in their position, and that’s what made me think one day, “what if I were them and didn’t have anyone to help me, not because they couldn’t but because they didn’t want to?” This is the things we should all think about, because there are people in the world that are sick, poor, hungry, and dying, and we should all be willing to help anyway, anytime we can. Not because we have to, but because we want to.     

              The Internet is something you need to be VERY careful with, and if you don’t more than likely you will pay. Some children mess around on the Internet by not being supervised or do it behind the backs of their loved ones and sometimes get caught. I would rather get caught by my parents than by someone who plans to hurt me in any way. I believe kids and adults that go online to hurt or do any criminal acts are VERY cowardly and mean. I am careful about what I do on the Internet, because I know I will NEVER get back what I put out there and at any time and it could be seen by anybody. Are you safe on the Internet?

In my oppinion I like the idea that children can start driving with a permit at age 15, or your first year of high school. I do believe it would be better to raise the drivers license age up to 18, I’m supporting my believe by saying that teenagers have a tendency to not pay attention or get off task or easily distracted, and being this way I don’t think teenagers should be driving by themselves without an adult. If we change the age to get your license at 18 I believe it will help by giving us more time to practice with an adult who knows what they are doing. However, If the law does get changed I feel the teenagers will get bored with driving and not practice. If we keep kids off the road until 18 with an adult they might feel the wait is too long. In my opinion this is a good thing because they need to know that we do care about how safe it is to be on the streets. Many little kids play in the streets, but are not safe doing so, and by making this a law teenagers I feel would be more careful. I am old enough right now to get a permit I’m just not in high school yet, and I honestly cannot see myself driving anytime soon, but it will. I know I am not mature enough to drive alone and i believe if I have this much practice I will become more mature over time. so many teens today can get jobs which means they have to have transportation to get there and most of the time it is a car drove by them. If we switch the age it may get in the way and be a bother to many many people ,because people who don’t have a license will have to have someone 18 and older to drive them and most 18 year old teens have a job themselves and this might get in the way. This has many disadvantages, but has more advantages. I think this is a good idea to switch the age limit to 18 to get a legal license to drive without an adult. What do you think?

                   Why is it a bad thing to be spending time doing things that we like, like watching TV, playing on the computers, or on our cell phones? I personally think doing these things as a young adult it is fine but spending too much time can hurt you mentally and physically. A few hours a day would be good enough to play on all of these electronics, but i don’t think it would hurt you at all. In my opinion, I think teens should spend less time on electronics. I like to go outside and be active rather than wasting my time and energy on less wisely things. Why would you want to be cooped up in a house doing nothing smart, rather than spending your time in a good way. Playing on games, cell phones, T.V., and computers is a waste of time. I think people who spend hours on end on electronics are being lazy and finding an easier way out of your day and not trying to go out there and try new things like a person who wants to succeed in life. What do you think about people who spend all there time on electronics? If I were to be doing that not only would I feel bad and disappointed in myself. The reason I don’t spend that much time on electronics is because I am thinking about myself and my future.
