There are many different Military branches.  There is the Army, the Marine corps, the Navy, the Air Force and the Coast Guard.  They are all different from each other.  The Army requires nine weeks of Basic Combat Training.  The Marine corps is the smallest branch of the military. The Marines are stationed all around the world at all times. The Navy can be positioned under water, in the air, or on the ground. They receive specialized training for advanced warfare situations. The Air Force recruits receive 8 1/2 weeks of Military Training. The Coast Guards Basic Training takes place at the Coast Guard Training Center in Cape May, N.J., and lasts for eight weeks.

A vet sounds like a very fun job to have. A veterinarianis a person who takes care of sick or injured animals. I am interested in becoming a vet because i love animals and care about their health. Once i had a German shepherd named Katie, she was always sick so we took her vet and we had found out she had cancer. They had gave her a lot of shots to try to keep her alive a month or two later she had died. It was very sad, but i saw how the vet tried to keep her alive and it made me want to be a veterinarian.
