The best soccer player in the world that there ever was is retired Pelé DosSantos. Pelé was the world’s youngest soccer player at the age of 17. He played on Brazil team for the world cup in 1950,1954,1958,1962,1966, and1970. During that time, Pelé won 3 world cups for Brazil and made the team the best at that time. Pelé also played for Santos of Brazil and for the New York Cosmos. During his career, Pelé scored more than 1,000 goals! Pelé was unstoppable with Garrincha on offense. When Pelé was a little boy, he did not have a soccer ball, so he used a rock to practice with. A few years later, Pelé played like no one else. A few months ago Pelé showed the World cup for South Africa 2010 to people worldwide watching on television. Pelé is still the youngest and will always be a legend.
