    Hi Grace,

I am interested in using Kidblog in my classroom for a Lives of Scientists project. I have never blogged before., but am interested in it as a classroom tool.

2 questions: do you have lessons and tutorials for teachers to learn how to get started? Can blogs be printed out, so that kids have a paper copy of their work? And finally, if I do the free trial and then sign up for monthly, will there be access to the blogs that the kids are working on during the free trial (will it roll over into my monthly) or will we lose our files?

    Thanks, Laura

      Hi Laura,

Wonderful to hear you’re interested in using Kidblog for your Lives of Scientists project.

Yes, Kidblog has a variety of resources for teachers to get started. We have our help and resource center: as well as this blog where you can search articles written by teachers about their classroom tips lesson ideas and experiences. For instance, this search will pull up all our blogs with science ideas:

No, unfortunately, we do not have the ability in-app for students to print their blogs – however, we do have a variety of audience and guest connection abilities so parents can be invited to view a student’s entire portfolio with their own account at any time.

Yes! If you start a free trial and then transition to a monthly membership – your students will absolutely have access to their work. They will even have access to their work if you start a free trial and then decide not to continue with a paid membership. We will never delete student work from our platform.

Please let me know if you have any other questions, you’re welcome to email me directly as well,

Thank you and have a great day,
